Hello! I’m Mimi, and I’m proud to welcome you to Sussman’s Supply Co. - Sewing.Supply, a family business with a rich history that stretches back to 1954. Originally known as Sussman’s Bridal Supplies Inc., our store has been a cherished spot for Toronto’s sewing community, and now, we’re so happy to call Hamilton our new home.
My story with Sussman’s began when I took over the business from the Sussman family and brought my own experience from Hong Kong’s garment industry, where I specialized in import and export. I wanted to build on the wonderful foundation the Sussmans had created and bring a bit of my heritage into the mix, so we expanded our offerings to include both vintage and new supplies that speak to today’s creators.
